Scuba Madeira
Our dive center is located in the Pestana Palms Hotel at the Lido (Funchal), the dive center is operating since May 1, 2001 and is directly next to the sea (10 meters).
You can explore the underwater life at our house-reef with your dive buddy or go with one of our experienced Divemaster any time during the opening of the center of time. The boat is going twice a day at 10:00 am and 14:00 pm directly in front of the dive center to different “Dive-Spots”.
The dive center has changing rooms, toilets, and a shower. There are fresh water basins to rinse off your equipment and shady places to hang it out to dry. If you don’t feel like carrying your own equipment back to your hotel every day, you can safely store it with us.
Compressor & tanks:
Scuba Madeira has a Lenhard & Wagner compressor what delivers air and Nitrox! Tanks (in 8, 10, 12 and 15 liter) with DIN and INT valves.
Equipment rental:
Scuba Madeira offers an extensive first-rate rental service. The equipment is regularly maintained and replaced. Thanks to our fully equipped workshop,we can also take care of the needed repair on your private gear.
